About Me

AvatarAuthor3Resize  Welcome to my blog.

My name is M.K. Clark. I graduated from college with a degree in psychology and English with a concentration in creative writing. I live in the southern part of the U.S. with my family. I first realized that I liked to write in high school, but I didn’t take it that seriously at first. It wasn’t until college that I realized how much writing meant to me.

I was going through a rough period after high school and writing provided the relief that I needed. Creating worlds and characters is kind of like going on a journey. I collect things as I go. The story and the character’s journey stays with me. They reside in my head, demanding that I write their story. I’m beginning to listen now and put it down on paper.

My future novels are mainly young adult, however my short stories feature characters of all ages.  My main genres are realistic fiction, fantasy, horror, supernatural, and science- fiction. I’ll most likely be posting a majority of my writing, writing tips, book recommendations, movie and TV show reviews, and other things I find interesting.  Hope you enjoy the blog.

I think every writer I’ve met so far mentions the characters in their head and how they demand attention. We’re lucky to be writers – anything else and we’d be locked up for voices in our heads :). Good luck with your journey.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I know right. My characters demand that I tell their story. Good luck to you too.
